Types of Therapy We Use

Our therapeutic approach is eclectic, meaning we blend several proven methods to fit your needs, goals, and preferences. Some of the techniques we may use include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Helps you identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS): Explores the different “parts” of yourself with compassion and curiosity.

  • Mindfulness: Focus on paying attention to the present moment and creating safety in the here-and-now

  • Person-Centered Therapy: You lead the way—our role is to listen, support, and guide without judgment.

  • Play Therapy: Especially helpful for children and teens to express emotions through play and art.

  • Positive Psychology: Focuses on strengths, resilience, and what’s working—rather than just what’s wrong.

  • Reality Therapy: Encourages responsibility, clarity, and practical steps to create meaningful change.

  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT): Goal-oriented and future-focused, helping you move forward with clarity.

  • Somatic Therapy: Incorporates body awareness into healing, especially helpful for trauma.

  • Strengths-Based Therapy: Builds on your existing strengths to promote confidence and growth.

  • Trauma-Informed Therapy: Specialized support to gently process and heal from past trauma.
